It’s Raining People!

The Detroit Free Press has a new story about fund balances (sometimes known as rainy day funds) and schools in real trouble. They also have a database of all Michigan districts with 2009 data. The database makes Parchment look pretty good. But as I’ve said, the fund balance amount seems to float up and down at various times!
